About Dawn

Hi! I'm Dawn Carey (nee Powell) CEO & Founder of Award Winning company Designing Interiors and KBC Design, ITA and Mentoring & Training by Dawn. I'm also a Speaker and Business Mentor, loving wife and devoted mum of two. I've worked in the industry for over 10 years, 7 as a business owner.

My career spans over 35 years working in countries throughout the world across a range of industries within boutique and global organisations, predominantly in Leadership, Customer facing and Sales focused roles. Originally from the UK (yep still got the accent!) I've lived and worked in Australia for almost 20 years.

Speaking, Training & Mentoring

I have spent many years providing educational services to aspiring designers and hobbyists through internships, presentations, workshops, masterclasses, webinars and attending TAFE and Ulleo with face to face and online insights into the industry, business and real life projects.

Due to ongoing damand, I am now offering a range of Mentoring and Training Services, whether you are already working in the industry, keen to gain skills, are wanting to establish or grow your own business or just want some career support, ITA is the place for you.

I love to inspire, support and motivate people to realise their full potential and encourage self belief. My fun loving, positive and enthusiastic energy is contagious!
